LOHE QURANI
Lohe Qurani refers to the Qur’anic Tablets or Qur’anic Plates inscribed with specific Arabic letters or verses from the Quran. Islamic culture often uses these for decorative, spiritual, or protective purposes. The term “Lohe Qurani” is derived from two words:
- Lohe: This is an Urdu word (لوح) that means “plate” or “tablet.”
- Qurani: This refers to something related to the Quran, the holy book of Islam.
The Lohe Qurani typically contains the 29 Arabic letters that appear at the beginning of certain Surahs (chapters) in the Quran. These letters are known as Huroof Muqatta’at (حروف مقطعات), which are disjointed or isolated letters. Their exact meaning is known only to Allah, and they are considered a mystery of the Quran.
